Smith’s journey to the crown began in August 2024, when she won the Ms. Petite USA title in Chicago, Illinois. Remarkably, this was her first pageant experience, yet she emerged victorious by exemplifying grace, style, and elegance. Her platform, “Stature Does Not Determine Strength,” has resonated with individuals across the country, encouraging them to embrace their confidence regardless of size.

Originally from Red Springs, North Carolina, Smith has made Washington, D.C., her home, where she continues to expand her advocacy efforts. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Sports Science and Fitness Management with a concentration in Business Administration from North Carolina A&T State University, an HBCU that shaped her leadership journey. During her time at A&T, she served as Senior Class Queen, danced for the university’s drumline, and became a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated.

Beyond the pageant stage, Smith has built a career dedicated to HBCU student success. She currently works as an Event Manager with the Thurgood Marshall College Fund, traveling across the country to raise awareness about scholarships, internships, and professional development opportunities for students.
