The 3rd Annual DC Music Summit successfully educated, inspired and entertain local artist and entrep

Washington, DC is known for it political position since it was founded in 1790, the nation's capital has been a dynamic city with plenty of highs and lows to match its place in American history. Within the past twenty years, Washington, DC (District of Columbia) and the surrounding metropolitan area, Maryland and Virginia also affectionately called the DMV, (DC, Maryland and Virginia) has also begun being identify as little Silicon Valley due to the developing and migration of tech companies. Yet, something DC has been known for, but not really understood is the music scene of DC.

Both Artists who call DC home and to those that are only lovers of music, but lack the desire and talent to perform, DC since it conception has been a music town. Granted, many may think of only GO-GO music, which as of February has been legalized as Washington, DC's offical music.
